And since Brütal Legend is all about Metal, garnished with gore and swearing, streaming it without would be… I dunno… like being a deaf person in a disco I guess. The funniest one was Facebook. The part where the game glitched out early and played an endless loop of music for 45s got flagged and the stream instantly killed. Fat chance disputing that. The best part? This is supposed to be under a CC-Non Commercial license – I am not monetizing any of this…

The worst thing with broken RSS is that my MicroSub reader can’t inform me about it in any way. Happened a lot before and I notice only weeks later eventually. I wonder how this can be improved.

Ja, das gefällt mir wieder und spricht mir aus der Seele. Dieses “Schnippsel-Blogging” auf Twitter ist super anstrengend und die Idee das dann wieder über einen Bot zusammen kleben zu lassen führt das dann echt ad absurdum. Dinge, die ein Blogbeitrag hätten werden sollen halt. Warum Twitter an dieser unsäglichen Zeichengrenze fest hält ist mir auch schleierhaft, kann man doch im Gegensatz zu den paar Zeichen Videos mit Länge von über einer Stunde einbetten? Naja, wird schon seine Gründe haben. Vermutlich irgendwas mit Firmenpolitik. Ob es nun das oder der Blog ist kratzt mich da nicht einmal. Je nach Tagesform…

Yw, yes set -a / set +a before and after sourcing a file in bash makes this easier. I found out when I needed this to quickly source an env file used by a script that is launched and configured by systemd like this: EnvironmentFile=%h/.config/foo.env Sometimes I’ve to run this script manually so I do this to source the same config: set -a . /path/to/.config/foo.env set +a foo –bar
